Free Rounds Of Golf For Your Birthday

Give Yourself A Birthday Golf Vacation
Most golf courses now are improving their websites and are adding tee-time reservations to their website, and in doing so they have also started adding "free round of golf" coupons for birthdays.
1. Establish What City You’ll Be In & Search
Establish what city you’ll be in on your birthday and do a simply google search - <City> free golf “birthday”. Some states (like Florida) have a fee for non-residences, so consider that when selecting your golf destination.
2. Research & Create Your List Of Courses
Review your Google list of courses and track when and where you can play for your birthday. Most courses I’ve run into allow you to play your birthday round up to one week before or after your birthday, but most require you to pay for your cart fees. If you’re lucky and your birthday falls on a Saturday this year, that’s three consecutive Saturday rounds you can plan to play for only the cost of the cart, and that’s if you ride one. Create a list of the best courses for you.
3. Print Your Coupons
Be certain to print the online coupon and you might want to put a copy of your ID with it just to make the transaction easier. No form of rejection is worse than being denied of one’s “free-golf-round” birthright in the pro shop because ‘Mr. Free doesn’t have his ID with him’.
4. Get Your Tee Times in Advance
Like any other time, you should get a tee time. If getting the tee time requires a credit card, call the pro shop and explain the promotion so they can give you the tee time manually. If you aren’t playing with your regular group, bring along your twin or someone else with a recent birthday. This way you can both play free and split the cost of the cart.
“Happy birthday golfing”, and I hope you get more golf balls for your birthday (hint-hint), you just might have reason to need more!
...and remember...it only rains "too hard" if you bring an umbrella.
...more?
